This week we have been working on finishing last week's work and learning about histograms. We filled out a survey that will give us data for creating our own histograms. All worksheets that were due last friday had an extension to Tuesday.
Today in class we had work time for all the worksheets due today.
Today in class we, started with a graph from this slide (13th one). We then started two new worksheets, Mean v. Median and Identifying Outliers. Both of these worksheets are due Friday as well as your Speed Trap worksheet.
Today in class we, did a warm up found on this slide. Then we finished the worksheet Haircuts For All. When doing this we went over spread, shape and center. We then started on a Northbound and Southbound traffic box plot worksheet.
Today in class we started with a graph about traffic lights taken from the SAT. We then received a note taking sheet (found here) that we will be completing throughout the next few weeks. We went into further detail on few of the topics, and filled out this worksheet on box plots. Finally, we received this worksheet that you need to fill out during one vice/presidential debate (If you want the watch tonight's debate you can find a link here).
