We had time to work on all the unfinished work on Monday. On Tuesday we had brainstorming and share out time to talk about ideas for our capstone projects focus. For example, the people who are doing rockets could do something related to reaching your dreams.

We finished launching rockets. Blogs are due Sunday(but Mike would prefer them done ASAP). The assignment for Collins v. Eklund has been postponed until Monday. Have a great weekend!
So far in class we have spent the majority of class in open work time to finish all blogs, rockets and miscellaneous assignments that need to be finished. The writing prompt of the week is connecting Collin's and Eklund's work. Specifically, "How is Collin's rockside story similar to Eklund's 'Star Reflecting on the Water' story. The word count is 200-350 words. It is due Thursday at the beginning of class for critique.
Bad Pun I did a theatrical performance about puns. It was a play on words. Today in class we had time for blogs and to work on rockets.
Today in class we, made a draft for our wooden books. We got a template and traced it onto a piece of paper. These drafts will be used to help build our final books.
Today in class we started with an individual reflection of the question, "What make Eklund's work effective?" After this short prompt we created presentation in small groups for the question "How does the philosophy of The Allegory of the Cave connect to the beginning of First Star I See Tonight?" We then presented them to the class.
