So far in class we have spent the majority of class in open work time to finish all blogs, rockets and miscellaneous assignments that need to be finished. The writing prompt of the week is connecting Collin's and Eklund's work. Specifically, "How is Collin's rockside story similar to Eklund's 'Star Reflecting on the Water' story. Today in class we, made a draft for our wooden books. We got a template and traced it onto a piece of paper. These drafts will be used to help build our final books.
Today in class we started with an individual reflection of the question, "What make Eklund's work effective?" After this short prompt we created presentation in small groups for the question "How does the philosophy of The Allegory of the Cave connect to the beginning of First Star I See Tonight?" We then presented them to the class.
